A
typical Tea Garden Bungalow in the
English Suburban Style, Chokanad Bungalow
was build in the year 1914. Chokanad
is believed to be the first mountain
to be identified in the great Trigonometric
survey. The bungalow was extensively
renovated in 1963 after wild elephants
went on a rampage. The view from the
bungalow is spectacular. The bungalow
is tastefully furnished with many
of them original furniture of the
colonial occupants. Inside, the rooms
are spacious and having a fireplace
for a warm cozy atmosphere. |
