At Lakesong, an intricate lacework of canals intersect the 5 acre waterfront property. There are 28 quaint cottages, all constructed on the banks of the inland canals.

A neatly laid out gabled cottages and rooms with 4 Star Cottage amenities. It has tiled roof and un-plastered exteriors which are reminiscent of the traditional houses. They blend into the lush green landscaped grounds harmoniously. The interiors are roomy and comfortable. All accommodations have air conditioning and are well appointed with cable TV, direct-dial telephone and wi-fi technology.

The rooming arrangements have been categorized into three Types.

Vembanadu, Ashtamudi and Punnamada. "The Vembanadu and Ashtamudi Villas are constructed of Laterite rocks and Punnamada cottages are constructed of interlocking brickworks"
